This project included the removal of hazardous and non-hazardous metals contaminated soil, regrading and restoration of a 450’ length of stream bank, grading and capping approximately 2 acre with topsoil as well as seeding and extensive landscaping. Approximately 2500 tons of lead and cadmium contaminated soil was excavated, stockpiled, classified and transported offsite for disposal. After excavation of the impacted soil, a visual barrier was placed and the site covered with a minimum of one foot of clean soil. The stream bank was stabilized and restored utilizing biologs, coir matting with native plantings.
